Responsibilities
- Architect quantum communication networks with sub-10ms latency across distributed quantum processors
- Design cryogenic control systems supporting 1M+ qubit operations at 10mK temperatures
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for real-time optimization
- Create fault-tolerance protocols achieving 99.9999% qubit coherence
- Lead integration of photonic interconnects with superconducting quantum modules
- Implement quantum-safe cybersecurity protocols for hybrid infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC systems
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuit design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and Majorana fermions
- Track record of leading complex hardware-software integration projects
