Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and optimization
- Develop novel quantum error correction techniques for scalable quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and GPU acceleration
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Track record of securing government or industry research grants
