Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Lead open-source quantum computing initiatives in Python and Q#
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proficiency in Python with NumPy/SciPy and quantum libraries
- Familiarity with quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion)
- Strong background in cryptography fundamentals
