Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Conduct experimental research on quantum error correction protocols at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit designs for fault-tolerant systems
- Publish breakthrough research in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI, cybersecurity, and materials science divisions
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quantum computing hackathons
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) with 3+ years of practical experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction (arXiv/journal papers)
- Expertise in quantum hardware platforms including superconducting qubits and ion traps
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
