Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for computational acceleration in machine learning and optimization

- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for quantum innovations
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for commercial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Proven ability to secure competitive research grants (NSF, DoE, DARPA preferred)
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallelization
