Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with physics and AI teams
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure funding through NSF and DoE grant applications
- Publish in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum adoption strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit/Quil frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design and tomography
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit architectures
- Strong Python/C++ programming and Linux environment skills
- Clearable DOE security clearance preferred
