Responsibilities

- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive energy grid management
- Secure federal and private grants for quantum climate technology initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum error correction methodologies
- Partner with DOE and NREL on quantum simulation for fusion energy
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Chemistry, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing venues
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with HPC clusters and quantum cloud platforms
- Track record of translating theoretical research into commercial applications
