Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum software with emerging quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing applications in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Track record of high-impact publications in quantum computing or theoretical computer science
- Expertise in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography preferred
- Ability to secure competitive research funding and manage multi-year projects
