Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing education initiatives
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Partner with government agencies and private sector to advance national quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Strong background in complex mathematical frameworks (linear algebra, group theory, topology)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
