Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve quantum supremacy
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications for finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Contribute to open-source quantum software frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through hackathons
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing venues
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability theory
