Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum research into commercial applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with low-level programming (C++, Python) and hardware interfacing
- Ability to thrive in interdisciplinary research environments
