Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors and validate theoretical models
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks and APIs for commercial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals
- Experience with quantum simulation software (QASM, Quil) and cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
