Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at premier quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our open-source quantum software framework
- Develop patentable intellectual property in quantum machine learning and cryptography
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum information science
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra, probability, and complexity theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
