- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype quantum solutions for real-world challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper) and high-performance computing
- Strong publication record in quantum information science or adjacent fields
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing and managing research grants exceeding $500K
