Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using trapped-ion and superconducting qubit systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at major international conferences
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and protocols
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
