Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of qubit coherence in superconducting systems
- Publish 2-3 peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $2M+ in government/private research grants
- Develop patent-pending quantum cryptography protocols
- Collaborate with MIT and ETH Zurich on quantum-ML hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum supremacy or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Experience with dilution refrigerators and microwave control systems
- Strong background in condensed matter physics
- Proven grant-writing success (NSF/DoD preferred)
- Fluency in Python and low-level assembly for quantum control
