Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era devices
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions in finance and healthcare
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Secure $1M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD interns on quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proven track record of high-impact quantum research publications
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical optimization
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contracts
