Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and cryptography applications
- Design and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature/Science)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Experience leading research teams with demonstrated project delivery
- Knowledge of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Strong track record of securing government or corporate research funding
