Responsibilities
- Architect next-generation quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Oversee development of 100+ qubit quantum processors with <0.1% error rates
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capitalists
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish 3+ high-impact papers annually
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research with hardware focus
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Clearance for DoD/NSF collaborative projects (or ability to obtain)
