Our Austin campus features state-of-the-art cryogenic labs and a 128-qubit quantum processor – the largest in private industry.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in quantum algorithm development
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants for quantum initiatives
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era data challenges
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit and Nature journals
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on quantum supremacy benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit optimization using Qiskit/Cirq
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (PRL, PRX)
- Expertise in quantum annealing and D-Wave systems integration
- Track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation libraries
- Experience mentoring post-quantum cryptography researchers
