- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into production-ready systems
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure and manage $5M+ research funding from government and private partners
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive talent acquisition for quantum computing excellence
- Develop roadmap for quantum advantage deployment by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Experience securing SBIR grants or equivalent government research funding
- Demonstrated ability to lead international research teams of 10+ scientists
- Published patents in quantum computing or related fields
- Fluency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
