Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant cryptography projects
- Manage team of 12+ quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DoD
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Develop patent-pending quantum error correction methodologies
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computational Science (10+ years experience)
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (h-index >30)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware (D-Wave, IBM Q)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems
