Responsibilities
- Architect and execute quantum computing R&D roadmap for 2026 commercialization
- Lead team of 8-10 quantum physicists and software engineers
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Collaborate with IBM/Google quantum hardware teams on error correction
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Publish in Nature/Science and speak at IEEE Quantum Week
- Bridge quantum research with enterprise AI/ML applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in quantum computing with hardware/software experience
- Published work on quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Strong Python/C++ programming and Linux systems knowledge
