Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit architectures
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithms
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Track record of translating theory to experimental validation
