Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era processors using Python and Qiskit
- Develop quantum error-correction codes to achieve fault-tolerant computation
- Simulate quantum systems using IBM Quantum Experience and Rigetti Forest SDKs
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Lead cross-functional projects translating quantum advantage into commercial solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum cryptography
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
