Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial deployment milestones
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for enterprise applications in finance and logistics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit systems
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- File patents for novel quantum circuit designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience leading teams developing fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum initiatives
