Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in quantum system integration
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant communication systems
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum hardware innovations
- Document architectural blueprints and performance specifications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or hardware development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit technologies or photonic quantum systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
