Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise deployment
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error correction and scalability
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Research quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026 security standards
- Collaborate with government and academic partners on quantum initiatives
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing or superconducting systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum optimization
- Security clearance preferred for government collaboration projects
