Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging qubit entanglement and superposition
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip integration
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, AI, and molecular modeling
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with academic partners
- Document quantum system specifications and security protocols
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting systems
- Expertise in QASM, Qiskit, or quantum circuit design
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum error correction
- Published research in IEEE Quantum or Nature Quantum
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (Azure Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation tools
