As a key member of our Quantum Futures division, you'll lead groundbreaking initiatives in quantum error correction, qubit stability, and hybrid quantum-classical architectures. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical quantum algorithms into practical enterprise solutions, with direct impact on pharmaceutical R&D, materials science, and financial modeling.
Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures with 99.9% qubit stability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world problem domains
- Establish industry-standard protocols for quantum security and encryption
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance qubit coherence times
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Author whitepapers on quantum advantage in industrial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Strong background in distributed computing and high-performance systems
