Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead integration of quantum-AI hybrid computing pipelines
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical simulations and climate modeling
- Partner with hardware teams to design cryogenic control systems
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption standards
- Present architectural roadmaps to C-suite and government innovation councils
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum projects
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
