Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols to protect 2026's digital infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum processors with classical HPC systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Create technical documentation and architecture blueprints for enterprise quantum solutions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Present quantum computing strategies to C-level executives and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction, topological qubits, and fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum cryptography (arXiv or peer-reviewed)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration (IBM Q, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in cybersecurity principles applied to quantum threats
- Proven track record of leading technical projects with measurable business impact
