Responsibilities

- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in machine learning and cryptography
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum security frameworks
- Research and implement novel quantum communication protocols for distributed quantum networks
- Document architectural specifications and quantum system performance metrics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum) and HPC environments
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed conference presentations
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior quantum engineers
