Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 10,000+ qubit capacity
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for real-world applications
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical algorithm development for commercial deployment
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems and photonic interfaces
- Drive quantum security standards for post-quantum cryptography implementations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top quantum computing journals or conferences
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 roadmap projections
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
