Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum simulation frameworks for real-world applications
- Create quantum security protocols for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, quantum annealing)
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC environments
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D projects with $1M+ budgets
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
