Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to optimize computational workflows
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in prototyping quantum systems
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum circuits at scale
- Document architectural blueprints and performance benchmarks for client implementations
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum standards and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
