Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for complex computational problems in cryptography, machine learning, and optimization
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems integrating hardware, software, and cloud platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement quantum solutions addressing real-world business challenges
- Research and implement quantum error correction techniques to enhance system reliability
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize algorithms for specific quantum processors
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for testing and validation before physical deployment
- Stay at the cutting edge of quantum research, publishing findings and contributing to open-source quantum projects
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum hardware architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Proven track record of developing quantum solutions for practical applications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and quantum supremacy challenges
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
