What you'll achieve: Lead the development of scalable quantum processors, optimize quantum error correction protocols, and create roadmaps for quantum supremacy milestones. Collaborate with MIT and Stanford researchers to push beyond theoretical limits.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuits and algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Implement quantum error correction codes with <10-9 fault tolerance
- Architect quantum cloud infrastructure with AWS Braket
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Validate quantum solutions against industry benchmarks
- Secure patents for novel quantum protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems (IBM/Google)
- Deep knowledge of Shor's/Grover's implementations
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Track record of shipping production quantum systems
