Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Drive R&D for quantum machine learning integration
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
- Patent novel quantum algorithms and system designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction techniques
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Deep knowledge of quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ions)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Q, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
