Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm development and optimization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communication systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stabilization and error correction
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic computing)
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years experience designing quantum computing systems or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into scalable prototypes
