Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum security architecture for blockchain and financial systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit connectivity and error correction
- Drive patent development in quantum machine learning applications
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years building quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum supremacy
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, surface-17)
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain DoD clearance
