Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Drive quantum software stack development including compilers and simulation frameworks
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies for commercial viability
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals (e.g., Nature Physics)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control hardware
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy
