Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop error mitigation protocols for practical quantum applications
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in quantum algorithm development
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography
- Present breakthrough research at premier industry conferences
- Drive patent portfolio expansion in quantum computing IP
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Experience securing $10M+ in quantum computing research grants
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and post-NISQ roadmaps
