Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and error correction
- Document quantum system architectures and publish research findings
- Drive quantum computing adoption across finance, healthcare, and logistics sectors
- Mentor junior quantum engineers on emerging quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum computing systems
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Certification in quantum computing architecture (preferred)
