Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum control system integration
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Drive quantum algorithm standardization for healthcare and logistics applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS + 5 years experience considered)
- 3+ years designing quantum computing systems or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Track record of translating theoretical quantum concepts into practical solutions
