Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for scalable quantum processors
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Create quantum algorithms solving complex optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing and quantum supremacy
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
- Translate quantum computing concepts into commercial applications for finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Proven ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
