Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era hardware requirements
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Create quantum algorithms solving previously impossible computational problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic systems)
- Document architectures and publish breakthrough findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype real-world quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or enterprise quantum system development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
