Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize complex computational problems in finance, logistics, and AI
- Collaborate with physicists and engineers to prototype quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing systems
- Conduct research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing standards development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
