Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment by 2026
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve 99.9% qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and material science
- Secure $10M+ in quantum computing research grants and partnerships
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or Physical Review X)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing systems and superconducting qubits
- Track record of leading quantum algorithm development with measurable impact
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex quantum concepts to stakeholders
