Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems with 10,000+ qubit scalability
- Lead quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity rates
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Drive quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Deep knowledge of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC codes)
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulators
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex R&D projects with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Google, IonQ) and cryogenic systems
